Tony Stockwell

Tony Stockwell is an English medium who grew up in London's East End and first sat in a Spiritualist church as a teenager, where he found the work he has followed ever since. Over more than three decades he has given demonstrations of evidential and trance mediumship to audiences in Britain, North America and Australia, and he became familiar to many viewers through television series such as The Psychic Detective, Street Psychic and Psychic School. He has written four books for Hodder, among them Spirited and Walking with Angels.

These days much of his energy goes into training other mediums. He has taught for London's College of Psychic Studies and for Arthur Findlay College, keeps a teaching base called Soul Space in Billericay, Essex, and hosts residential weekends at country hotels around England. Online, he guides month-by-month Zoom programmes on trance and on trusting intuition. His manner is warm, practical and often funny, and he comes back regularly to Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York, to lead mediumship workshops.
