Teaches on Insight Timer

Rev. Skip Jennings is a New Thought minister, coach, yoga teacher and author based in Los Angeles. He trained for the ministry at Agape University's Michael Bernard Beckwith School of Ministry, belongs to the Religious Science movement (Centers for Spiritual Living), and is an assistant minister at the Religious Science church in North Hollywood, having earlier been spiritual director of a centre in Fort Lauderdale. He came to yoga through a single class in 1996 and has spent more than twenty years weaving fitness, yoga and metaphysical study together.

His teaching draws on Science of Mind: the idea that a change in thinking changes a life, put into practice through affirmation, gratitude, visioning, meditation and gentle movement. He coaches people one to one using a framework he calls C.A.R.E.S., leads workshops, a weekly midweek meditation and service on Zoom, and retreats, including one in Santorini for people in their fifties and beyond. His books include a thirty-one-day devotional, The Little Book for Big Transformations; Spirit Explosion, a mix of poems, affirmations and writing prompts; and The Lotus Kitchen, a vegetarian cookbook with yoga notes written with caterer Gwen Kenneally.
