Richard Gordon

Richard Gordon is an American energy-work teacher and author, and the founder of Quantum-Touch. In the early 1970s he studied therapeutic massage, spiritual healing and herbalism at the Christos School of Natural Healing in Taos, New Mexico, where he first became aware of life-force energy in his hands. That led him to polarity therapy and to his first book, Your Healing Hands: The Polarity Experience. He then apprenticed with the energy worker Robert Rasmussen and took over his work on Rasmussen's retirement, developing it into the method he named Quantum-Touch.

Quantum-Touch combines breathing practices, body awareness and focused intention to build and direct life-force energy, and is taught as a simple skill that anyone can learn and use for themselves, family and friends. Richard's book Quantum-Touch: The Power to Heal is available in 17 languages, and the method is now taught by more than 150 certified instructors around the world. In his later work he explores the meeting point of matter and consciousness through simple, repeatable experiments. He teaches online, including courses on The Shift Network on Quantum-Touch and on states of expanded awareness he calls super-consciousness.
