Teaches on Commune

Noah Mazé is a yoga teacher and trainer of teachers, known for precise, methodical classes that bring careful alignment together with flowing vinyasa, breathwork and meditation. He grew up meditating with his family, starting at four and including stays at Siddha Yoga ashrams in New York and India, began a regular asana practice at fourteen, and went on to study, and qualify in, most of the well-known modern postural lineages, Anusara among them.

With his wife Tracy he founded the school now called The Mazé Method, which runs Yoga Alliance registered 200- and 300-hour trainings online, plus 50-hour modules on anatomy, sequencing, vinyasa krama and yoga philosophy, where he treats the Bhagavad Gita, mythology and the history of the tradition as study rather than belief. After roughly ten years teaching on the early streaming site yogaglo, the couple started their own platform, mazeONyoga, and he has also taught for Yoga International, Omstars and Wanderlust TV and at the Esalen Institute. Alongside the online school he travels to lead weekend intensives in studios and retreats such as The Sacred Pause at the Sivananda ashram in the Bahamas, and his strength-focused classes are part of the Commune membership.
