Mary Rose Freeth is a meditation guide who lives on Grand Manan, an island in the Bay of Fundy off New Brunswick, Canada. She spent her working life as a registered nurse, and it was a period of exhaustion and strain in that life that first drew her to sit quietly each day. What began as a personal practice grew into MeTime Meditations, the online home she set up to share heart-centred guided meditation with anyone who wants a gentler pace.
Her recordings are calm and unhurried, usually ten to twenty minutes long, and draw on loving kindness, compassion practice, ho'oponopono, body scans, yoga nidra and visualisations set in nature, with binaural beats in some tracks. Recurring themes are self-kindness, opening the heart, creativity, abundance and kinder relationships with others. Since 2020 she has run a members' circle with a library of more than two hundred meditations, alongside a lighter monthly plan that sends a new thirty-day journey each month and a free seven-day series for newcomers. She also shares many of her meditations freely on YouTube and on Insight Timer, where listeners around the world follow her work.
