Mark Guay

Mark Guay is a San Diego coach and meditation teacher whose work joins leadership development with inner, archetypal and energetic practice. An adoptee who grew up with violence at home, he speaks openly about how family history is carried in the body and how facing it can change what is handed on. He holds a master's degree in education, qualified as an Integral Coach through Integral Coaching Canada, and has trained in Internal Family Systems with mentors including Robert Falconer and Cece Sykes. He describes himself as a lightworker and has coached senior people in finance and technology for more than fifteen years.

Most of his clients are founders, executives and fathers in mid-life who feel that their old idea of success has run its course; his Second Mountain programme helps them name their values, shape a five-year vision and work with the inner parts that resist change. His recorded courses take a more contemplative route: one moves through the seven chakras towards a short daily manifestation ritual, another uses masculine archetypes as a rite of passage into fatherhood. On Insight Timer he shares guided meditations, breathwork and versions of these course journeys.
