Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso

Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso studies the religions of the ancient Mediterranean and teaches the Sacred Feminine; she is best known for research on traditions of divine and virgin birth and on Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene. From CIIS, the California Institute of Integral Studies, she holds a PhD in Humanities and an MA in Philosophy and Religion. She trained in intuitive development with the Foundation for Spiritual Development and taught religion and women's spirituality at several Bay Area universities. Later, at Canterbury Christ Church University in England, she helped set up a master's programme on myth, cosmology and the sacred.

Seven Sisters Mystery School, founded in 2012, is where she teaches the oracle and priestess traditions of the ancient world, the lineage of the Marys, the Pleiades and the faery realms. She pairs historical scholarship with guided meditation, ceremony and oracular transmission, offered as on-demand courses, a monthly online membership called the Inner Sanctum Temple, and a Mary and Magdalene priestess training over six months. Her books include a study of the secret life of Mother Mary, a book on the mystery tradition of miraculous conception, and two academic works, one on the ancient Greek cult of divine birth and one on the virgin mother goddesses of antiquity.
