Lynne Goldberg is a meditation teacher and author whose work centres on sitting still with life as it actually is, especially when plans fall apart. She turned to meditation during a hard family time and kept returning to it through the long and uneven road of becoming a mother. Her teaching began in schools, and when teachers asked for something to use at home, the idea grew into Breethe, the meditation app she co-founded and where she built up the first library of guided sessions and became its public face.
Her style is plain, warm and often funny, aimed at busy people who doubt they can meditate at all. She now teaches what she calls Choicefulness: noticing a reaction, pausing, and deciding how to meet what comes next, taught through short guided practices, journal prompts and five stages she names Radical Recognition, Feel the Feels, Adapt, Alchemize and Rise. Her book Catching Your Breath, a meditative guide to starting over in midlife with a foreword by Chip Conley, is due from BenBella Books in January 2027. She also speaks at conferences and companies, and offers a short free guided meditation to anyone who joins her mailing list.
