Lyndsay Toensing

Lyndsay Toensing is a writer, meditation maker and ritualist living in the Tacoma area of Washington State. She spent about fifteen years leading and mentoring teams in companies large and small, and drew on that time for her first book, The Art of Connected Leadership, published by Morgan James in 2020. Alongside that career she trained as a leadership coach and studied energy work and mediumship, and a period of collapse and grief in midlife turned her attention fully to the inner life.

That turn became The Unfinished Human, the name under which she now writes and teaches. Its starting point is that nobody needs fixing or finishing, and that the times when an old identity falls away deserve to be met with honesty and ritual rather than hurried past. She makes ritual journeys that combine oracle cards, writing, music, altar work and grounding through the body, including a free three-part starter set and a longer journey on finding your voice again. On Insight Timer she records spirit guide journeys, shamanic drumming, energy clearing and bedtime gratitude practices, and she also writes essays and poetry and hosts a podcast with her brother.
