Teaches on The Shift Network

Dr. Lydia de León, an architect and researcher from Greece, studies the ways in which buildings and places affect the people within them. She studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens and took an MSc in Sustainable Environmental Design at London's Architectural Association, then completed a PhD in geobiology at the University of Ioannina, examining how geophysical anomalies affect living systems. For about fifteen years she has investigated why ancient temples stand where they do, measuring geometry, materials, earth fields and celestial alignments at sacred sites.

Geophilia, the design studio and school she co-founded with her partner, the architect Arturo Ponce de León, has bases in Greece, Mexico and Spain and brings building biology and sacred geometry into architecture. She developed the Healing Architecture approach, and her book The Power of Sacred Location grew out of her doctoral research. She teaches online courses on the sacred science of ancient temples, runs the Return to the Temple membership and leads temple retreats with Arturo, belongs to the faculty of Resonance Academy, and offers a live course on The Shift Network called Ancient Temple Codes.
