Luisa Muhr

Luisa Muhr is a Family and Systemic Constellations facilitator and interdisciplinary artist living in New York City. Born in Vienna, with Hungarian and Anatolian-Greek family roots, she grew up around constellation circles that her mother hosted at home, joined them herself as a teenager and later certified with the German facilitator and astrologer Peter Orban, an early associate of Bert Hellinger. Her own family history, including a great-grandfather who survived the Holocaust, shapes her interest in how unspoken stories pass down the generations.

In her groups, participants stand in for members of a seeker's family and follow what they sense, bringing hidden patterns into view; one-to-one, she works through guided inner imagery instead. She holds workshops at venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn, online circles, private and couples sessions and a yearly training for new facilitators, and she leads weekends at Kripalu. A certified Deep Listening practitioner in the tradition of Pauline Oliveros, she is also a vocalist, composer and performance artist, and she treats art and constellation work as two routes to the same kind of attention.
