Rev. Lee Wolak

Rev. Lee Wolak is a minister in the Religious Science, or Science of Mind, tradition and the founder and senior minister of Agape Spiritual Center, a small spiritual community north of Dallas that began in Plano and now gathers in Frisco, Texas. He also practises Zen, and his teaching sits where the two meet: the Science of Mind stress on affirmative prayer and the creative power of thought, set beside Zen's plain attention to the present moment and the Buddha's Eightfold Path.

He calls his approach practical spirituality. His weekly talks, released on YouTube and as the Rev Lee Wolak Podcast, take one theme at a time, such as self-worth, forgiveness, giving up control, faith and fear, or how to love well, and many close with a guided meditation. Longer series have worked through the core ideas of Science of Mind week by week and through the habits of the mind, and an older set of talks explaining the chakras in Western terms remains his most watched. He is the author of The Power in You (2022), a personal account of how he came to this way of living. On Insight Timer he shares affirmations, deep relaxation, breathing practices and guided meditations.
