Kim Newing

Kim Newing, who teaches as Mama Goddess, is a spiritual mentor and meditation teacher for women, living on a small farm outside Brisbane with her husband, their three daughters and a crowd of animals. In her early twenties she worked as an airline purser and travelled widely; at 26 she trained in life coaching, NLP and hypnosis, and a silent meditation retreat at 29 became the turning point of her inner life. Her training since then includes Ericksonian hypnotherapy, master-level NLP, intuitive guidance, feminine embodiment coaching and the Non Linear Movement Method, and she has worked with women for more than twenty years.

Her teaching joins psychology and spirituality, with a focus on intuition, self-trust, the body and the patterns we inherit. Her main programme, Soul Expansion Training, is a twelve-week live group course for women, run online with three calls a month and a week off for integration each month. She also records ten-day audio journeys on intuition and soul purpose, and one-to-one embodiment and deep-dive sessions when her diary allows. On Insight Timer, where she has taught since 2017, her voice-led meditations sit beside retold fairy tales for children at bedtime and courses on embodied intuition and purpose.
