Judy Ramsey

Working from her farm near Ann Arbor, Michigan, under the name Heart to Heart, Judy Liu Ramsey is an animal communicator, shamanic practitioner and ordained animal chaplain. She holds an MA from the University of Michigan and was a social work counsellor and craniosacral therapist before she turned to animal communication nearly twenty years ago. Penelope Smith trained her in telepathic animal communication and Teresa Wagner in grief and hospice communication. Her shamanic practice developed through mentoring with Sandra Ingerman and others, with further study under Tom Cowan, Alberto Villoldo and Betsy Bergstrom, and in 2023 she was ordained through the Compassion Consortium.

Her animal communication teaching runs across four levels, from basic telepathic communication up to interspecies counselling. Sandra Ingerman has approved her to teach Ingerman's own courses, among them Basic Journeying, Healing with Spiritual Light and Medicine for the Earth, along with advanced practitioner trainings. Most of her classes are live on Zoom; she also holds an online journey circle twice a month, gives private sessions for people and their animals, and leads small-group cultural journeys to Peru. She is practical and grounded, encouraging students to grow still and let the animals teach them. On YouTube she shares guided shamanic journeys and drumming for journeying.
