Jonathan Lehmann is a French meditation teacher and writer who spent six years as a corporate lawyer in New York before leaving the law to look for a more meaningful life. Raised in Paris, he spent three years travelling to meet teachers in India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, California and Italy, learning meditation, yoga and shamanic practices along the way. In 2015 he began Les Antisèches du Bonheur, which translates as the Happiness Cheatsheets: a blog that grew into a large French-speaking community built on short, practical habits for steadier moods and kinder relationships, drawing on Buddhist teaching, ancient philosophy and modern psychology.
He teaches mainly through guided meditations, many of them playful, such as visualisations built around film and book characters. On Insight Timer he offers free practices in English and French and five ten-day courses on self-love, fear, joy and wonder. He has written three books in French: a diary of his first silent retreat and travels, a handbook of his happiness method, and an account of a week of ayahuasca ceremonies. With Silence, a project he runs with Jeanne, he leads silent meditation retreats in France and Portugal, and he also hosts an English-language book club on Telegram.
