Joette Calabrese

Joette Calabrese

Joette Calabrese began studying classical homeopathy in 1986 and completed a five-year course through the North American Homeopathic Master Clinician Course and the Dynamis School of Advanced Homeopathy in Toronto, studying with Louis Klein, Jeremy Sherr, Jan Scholten, André Saine and Dr. A.U. Ramakrishnan. She also spent around eighteen months as a fellow at the Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation in Calcutta, where the protocol-based approach that shapes her teaching comes from.

She has consulted full-time since 1997, and is the founder and director of The Academy of Practical Homeopathy® and Mastery™. Where most homeopathy teachers teach practitioners, she teaches families. She describes the relationship with her students as educator and learner rather than prescriber and patient, and her own site carries a prominent disclaimer to that effect.

Her output is substantial: a podcast that has run past 178 episodes, a blog going back to 2013, her own materia medica, a study-group system, a membership community, and a year-long practitioner academy whose graduates are listed on a public directory. She works in English and Spanish and is based in Ocean Ridge, Florida.

Complementary to, not a replacement for, medical care.
