Jeannie O’Neill is a Kundalini and vinyasa yoga teacher, mindfulness meditation instructor and Ayurvedic practitioner based in Ithaca, New York. She co-founded Yoga Farm Ithaca, which grew out of a farm studio opened in 2015 and became a nonprofit in 2018, and she remains its executive director and lead educator. Her master's degree in education centred on contemplative teaching and curriculum design, and she is now working on a doctorate in transformational leadership, looking at how shared leadership and contemplative practice shape adult learning.
Like most Kundalini teachers in the United States she came up through Kundalini Research Institute trainings, but she has since built a guru-free approach that treats the practice as exploration rather than doctrine, with options offered and consent-based cueing. She wrote and leads the school's Radiant Warrior, Kundalini Warrior and Spiritual Warrior teacher trainings, which bring together Kundalini, Ayurveda, the Enneagram and lunar archetypes, along with shorter recorded courses on sadhana, numerology and the chakras. Classes run online and at the studio in Ithaca's West End, and she hosts retreats in Puerto Rico and Scotland. At Kripalu she leads a weekend joining Kundalini practice with Gandhi's idea of satyagraha, the force of truth.
