Frits Evelein

Frits Evelein is a Dutch composer, teacher and meditation guide who now lives in western France, south of Poitiers. He trained in music teaching at the Utrecht Conservatory, read musicology and arts management at Utrecht University and later earned a doctorate in psychology. He taught music education at the Rotterdam Conservatory and worked in teacher education in Utrecht, and with Fred Korthagen he co-wrote a book on core reflection for teachers. Alongside that career he spent twenty years as librarian of a large esoteric library in Amsterdam and twenty years as a priest of the Liberal Catholic Church in The Hague.

Since 2008 he has collaborated with Caroline Cory of OMnium Universe, and since 2010 he has composed what he calls Music from Source, sound intended to carry the energy of universal consciousness to the listener. That music runs through everything he offers, from albums and Insight Timer tracks to online courses that pair short spoken introductions with long guided journeys. His courses explore cosmology and the soul: the origin of creation, the Light Body, the Melchizedek teachers and energetic cleansing. Many are available in English as well as Dutch and German.
