Frida Möhres

Frida Möhres is a gong player and teacher who first met the instrument during a yoga class in Buenos Aires in 2015 and has worked with it ever since. She trained with the gong master Don Conreaux, taking part in his first gong teacher training in Slovenia in 2019, and in 2023 gained accreditation to teach Flumie playing, a friction-mallet style developed by Bear of Bear Love Sacred Sound. Her path into sound was not a straight line: she studied business in Berlin and interior design in Argentina, and has since qualified as a yoga teacher, mindfulness trainer and feng shui consultant, interests that shape how she sets up a room and a session.

The heart of her work is a small-group course in Berlin, spread over two weekends, that shows beginners how to play gong baths for themselves and for others. Alongside it she runs a one-day Flumie workshop, a self-paced online introduction to Flumies, and a yoga and sound weekend in Brandenburg with a yoga teacher, Lisa of Feel Yoga. Her recorded gong meditations are free to hear on her YouTube channel and on Insight Timer. She now lives in Barcelona and teaches in German, English and Spanish, in person and online.
