Emma Estrela

Emma Estrela is a breathwork teacher and lucid dreaming guide who lives in the Lake District in north-west England. She first travelled to Poland to train in the Wim Hof Method in 2016, went on to become one of its advanced instructors and a lead trainer at its academy, and has spent close to ten years guiding breathing sessions, cold-water immersions and retreats across Europe and the United States, at times alongside the breath writer James Nestor.

Her more recent path runs through yoga nidra and dreaming. Trained as a lucid dreaming facilitator by Charlie Morley and drawn to Tibetan dream yoga, she began exploring the dream state seriously after her late mother appeared to her in a lucid dream, and she now treats waking awareness and dreaming as one continuous practice. She works one to one in person and online, combining conversation, breath, body awareness and dream practice, and offers longer mentorships for people who want ongoing support. Her weekends in the Cumbrian fells pair breathing practice with waterfall and lake swims, and her YouTube channel mixes guided breathing with reflective films made at the water's edge.
