Coby Kozlowski is a yoga and meditation teacher, life coach trainer and writer whose work draws on yoga philosophy, storytelling and the expressive arts. She studied business and environmental studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, then took a master's in transformative leadership at Lesley University with a certificate in expressive arts therapy, and later studied coaching, positive psychology and Ayurveda. She has taught for many years on the faculty of the Kripalu School of Yoga, where she developed the Kripalu Vinyasa approach, and she trains teachers of Instinctive Meditation as one of the leaders of the Radiance Sutras School.
Her classes and retreats mix flowing practice, meditation, journaling, conversation and plenty of humour, and often turn on questions of purpose at different stages of life, from her Quarter-Life Calling programme for people in their twenties to a midlife immersion she calls the Holy Wake-Up Call. St. Martin's Press published her first book, One Degree Revolution, about using yoga's teachings to make small, steady changes, and Broadleaf Books brought out The Ache in Your Heart Is Holy in 2026. She gave a TEDx talk in the Berkshires, appears at yoga festivals, and offers private life and spiritual coaching by phone or video.
