Cirak

Cirak is a teacher of presence and awareness who came to spiritual work after more than twenty years as an information architect, planning how people find their way through complex systems for large technology and consumer brands and teaching design thinking at UCLA. In 2015 a stay in the California desert that was meant to last two weeks stretched to six months and began a long period of inner change. He then trained twice through Eckhart Tolle's School of Awakening, later taught on that programme and volunteered alongside Tolle for six years.

His teaching looks at the hidden structure of everyday experience: how an event turns into perception, interpretation, sensation and finally reaction, and how beliefs and identity quietly steer each step. He works through meditation, inquiry, attention to the body and live dialogue rather than theory, returning often to overthinking and emotional reactivity. He leads in-person retreats, including at Kripalu, hosts free live sessions most weeks, sells recorded programmes and virtual retreats filmed in Bali and Greece, and has written several books, among them Be You and The Five Levels of Awareness, with End of Illusion on the way.
