Teaches on Insight Timer

Chelsea Pottenger is a Sydney mindfulness and meditation teacher and the founder of EQ Minds, a company that brings wellbeing training into workplaces. She holds a postgraduate qualification in psychology and is accredited as a mindfulness and meditation coach. She came to this work after a hard stretch of her own following the birth of her daughter, when she rebuilt her daily life around simple practices and later retrained so she could teach them. She has acted as an ambassador for Australian mental wellbeing charities.

Much of her teaching happens in offices and on conference stages, where she gives talks and half-day sessions on emotional intelligence, focus and speaking with confidence, often alongside her husband, Jay Pottenger. Her style mixes plain-language brain science with breath work, journalling and short guided sits that busy people can fit into a working day. Her book The Mindful High Performer came out with Murdoch Books in 2022, followed by a 66-day prompt journal. She also records ten-minute meditations for the EQ Minds YouTube channel and for Insight Timer, where she has courses on setting goals with a vision board and on helping young children grow steady and resilient.
