Bronwen Logan
A practitioner available in your area.Bronwen Logan is one of the foundational voices of modern reiki — co-author of The Reiki Sourcebook, the field’s standard reference work, and the woman whose warm Australian voice has carried the practice into countless ears as the narrator of its best-loved audiobooks. Practising and teaching since 1999, she co-founded the International House of Reiki with Frans Stiene and created the Shibumi International Reiki Association, co-writing the books that shaped a generation’s understanding of the system’s Japanese roots: The Japanese Art of Reiki, Your Reiki Treatment, The A-Z of Reiki, and her own Beginning Reiki, Beginning Healing — with her guided audio Reiki Meditations for Self-Healing published by Sounds True.
Today her home for everything is Reiki with Bronwen, run from Tomah Retreat in Australia’s Blue Mountains, where she teaches privately — in person and online — alongside her many rescue animals. Her focus is twofold and quietly radical: the system of Reiki from its traditional Japanese perspective, and raising the voices of women within the teachings, a mission she champions through the Reiki Women Podcast, which she co-founded. Her offerings have a devotional rhythm all their own: a weekly online Reiju blessing (“fifteen minutes a week to remember who you really are”), a fortnightly coaching group, her Shinpiden+ programme for serious practitioners and teachers, self-study webclasses, and the Shūyō app — her daily reiki companion of Japanese meditations, poetry contemplation, and precept recitation, guided by her own voice. Scholarly without stiffness, nurturing without softness lost, Bronwen is the practice’s great woman of letters — and of the spoken word.
