Bodhi Samuel

Bodhi Samuel is a bodywork teacher, astrologer and meditation guide who runs a small teaching project called Under The Bodhi Tree. Community has been the thread through his life since summer camps in childhood, and he first met yoga through his father, who taught classes. A yoga teacher training in 2014 led him to his first ten-day silent Vipassana retreat, and from there he moved into Thai massage, Zenthai Shiatsu and other somatic work, then into relational and intimacy practices and astrology.

He now trains bodyworkers, teaches people to read their own birth charts, and leads residencies where students live, practise and learn together. He uses astrology as a map for looking at personality and life direction rather than as fortune-telling, and offers one-to-one chart readings online. His teaching style is playful and personal, with music, movement and sharing woven into lessons. On his podcast he talks with guests about meditation, yoga and other spiritual practices, and on Insight Timer he offers short meditations and a ten-day introductory course on being human.
