Teaches on Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health

Anandamai Charlyn Reihman is a Kripalu yoga teacher who has spent years studying the life and sayings of Swami Kripalu, the Indian master whose name the Kripalu Center carries. She trained to the 500-hour level at Kripalu and added yoga therapy studies at the YogaLife Institute, alongside a public health master's from Drexel and a long first career in workplace health and safety. For more than a decade she sat on the board of the Kripalvananda Yoga Institute, which looks after Muktidham, the Pennsylvania retreat where Swami Kripalu lived while in America, and she still leads retreats there.

Her 2021 book, Walking the Path of Love, sets her own story beside Swami Kripalu's teaching tales across twelve chapters on themes such as truth, service and compassion, each closing with small exercises she calls love experiments. She also hosts a podcast of the same name, talking with senior teachers from the lineage. Charlyn lives on her family's farm in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, where she runs a small studio for classes and teacher gatherings, and she teaches gentle yoga, mudra and breath practices online and in weekend programmes at Kripalu.
