Aluminea

Aluminea is a Usui and Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher on California's Central Coast. She opened her private practice, Blossoming Lotus Reiki, in 2011 and works from a studio in Templeton, travelling to Los Angeles and Orange County each month and seeing people in Hawaii as well. She is also a yoga teacher, makes custom malas through a two-week intention ceremony, and co-founded Heart Space Sanctuary, a non-denominational spiritual community where she serves as head minister.

A session with her begins with a conversation about what the client wants to release and invite, moves into a guided meditation shaped around that intention and then Reiki, given with light touch or with the hands just above the body, and ends with any impressions she received and simple practices to take home. Sessions can also be held over video. She teaches all three levels of Usui Reiki in person and online, from the first attunement to the master symbol, using her own manual, The Reiki Experience, and she leads occasional yin yoga, chakra and sound bath evenings on the Central Coast. A free set of short guided meditations on her site covers grounding, higher-self connection, self-love and morning practice, and more of her recordings are on Insight Timer.
