Aja Daashuur

Aja Daashuur is a medium and spiritual teacher based in Los Angeles, where she started Spirit House Collective in 2017 as a community for metaphysical learning, with a particular commitment to making spiritual education welcoming for Black, Indigenous and other people of colour. She says she was sensitive to spirit from childhood. Her training includes past life regression with Dr. Brian Weiss, study of the Akashic Records with Helen Vonderheide, and trance mediumship courses at the Arthur Findlay College in England.

She works under the name The Spirit Guide Coach, pairing mediumship with life coaching. Her sessions follow her own four-step CCCE Method (Connect, Channel, Clear, Embody): making contact with a client's spirit guides, talking through the patterns that surface, clearing heavy energy and then agreeing practical steps and rituals. Sessions run on Zoom and open three times a year, and a three-month Seeker Program offers regular work across a season. She has created two oracle decks, including Spirit Guide Portal (Weiser Books, 2026), illustrated by Justin Daashuur Hopkins, and leads retreats at Esalen and elsewhere in California, as well as community gatherings such as Spirit Church.
