The Way of Reiki — The Inner Teachings of Mikao Usui

By Frans Stiene

Stiene reads Usui's system back through its Japanese esoteric-Buddhist and Shinto roots, treating Reiki as a path of self-cultivation rather than a hands-on technique. It is the most sustained attempt to recover what Usui may actually have been teaching, precept by precept. Demanding, and quietly transformative.
