By Mikao Usui

Doi was a member of the Usui Reiki Ryōhō Gakkai itself, and this was the first book to describe Gakkai practice to a Western readership from the inside. His Gendai Reiki Hō synthesis of Japanese and Western methods shaped a generation of teachers. Historically significant, whatever one makes of the synthesis.
